The ICQ Sample Skin provided herein ("Sample") is the property of the ICQ Project ("ICQ Project"). By downloading, using or editing the Sample you consent to be bound by these Terms of Use for ICQ Skin Sample. If you do not agree to such terms do not use the Sample.

1. You hereby acknowledge and agree that ICQ Project is the owner of the Sample and any other trademarks, trademark applications and/or registrations thereof and you will do nothing inconsistent with such ownership.
2. The Sample may only be used for creating a new skin specifically for ICQ.
3. The Sample shall not be used in a manner disparaging to ICQ Project and ICQ.
4. You may only use the Sample as provided by ICQ Project in this ICQ Sample Skin Package to edit images and definitions for colors, sizing and positioning of elements with no alterations or modifications of copyright or other proprietary notices, legends, or symbols.
5. You shall not modify or alter the Sample confidentiality notices or version numbers in any manner without prior written approval of ICQ Project, except that you may edit the file and skin name to fit your needs.
6. In any use of the Sample, all copyrights and notices must be displayed clearly and sufficiently indicating the author status (whether for Skin and Sample) and ownership of the Sample by ICQ Project in accordance with applicable law and practice.
7. You shall comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and customs and obtain any required government approvals pertaining to the use of the Sample.
8. In any use of the Sample, ICQ Project may publish your skin on the ICQ Project website in any altered form as may be required by ICQ Project with or without stating you as the author.
9. The Sample may only be republished in a new form creating your own unique design, when it is enabled in the ICQ software.
10. The Sample shall not be used in any manner that would falsely convey sponsorship, endorsement or approval of the content of your skin or publication by ICQ Project and ICQ.
11. You agree not to use the Sample on or in connection with any products or services that are or could be deemed by ICQ Project or ICQ, in its reasonable judgment, to be obscene, pornographic, disparaging of ICQ Project and ICQ or their products, or otherwise in poor taste, or that are themselves unlawful or whose purpose is to encourage unlawful activities by others. All use of the Sample shall inure to the benefit of ICQ Project and ICQ.
12. You may not redistribute the Sample or make it available online in its original form for others to download or copy.
13. ICQ Project shall not be held responsible for functionality nor anything else regarding custom, user created skins for the ICQ software.
14. Nothing in these Terms of Use for the ICQ Skin Sample grants you any right, title or interest in or to the Sample other than the right to use the Sample as provided herein.
